Review Jupiter II Blue Sponge 39°

Explanation

This review will be a review of adhesive rubber from a Chinese manufacturer. When it comes to China, Double Happiness Shanghai (DHS) is famous, but this time we will review Jupiter II Blue Sponge (YINHE, Miky Way, Galaxy)! Everyone knows WRM’s rubber. I lightly googled the information of the manufacturer galaxy, but I could not get much, so I will omit it. Ginga is a manufacturer that names celestial bodies in rubber names, and there are other names such as Apollo, Moon, Venus, and Sun. I’ve reviewed Moon Blue in the past. It’s a little heavy, but I personally felt it was similar to VICTAS’s Triple Double Extra with good cost performance adhesive rubber. Push cuts well, the sheet is soft and the ball is good. Following such moon blue, I would like to review Jupiter II Blue Sponge.

The Jupiter II Blue Sponge has been described as close to the Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the provincial team by Mr. WRM’s Guccii. I would like to touch on that. Of course, I tried the Jupiter II blue sponge, 39° black.

Public performance value

I tried to look it up but couldn’t find the performance chart. This time, I will only compare the hardness.

As I mentioned in Moon Blue, it is heavy because it is made in China. The Jupiter II blue sponge weighed 52 g, which is the same weight as high-end rubber in recent years. The Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the ministry team is light and weighs less than 50 g, and the butterfly rubber is also light. Focusing on hardness, the Jupiter II Blue Sponge is hard, resulting in it being harder than Dignics 09C. If you can master hard rubber, you can hit a powerful ball with a large amount of rotation, so this is something to pay attention to. It’s harder than Moon Blue, so it’s easy to imagine that it’s easier to put out more power than Moon Blue!

When focusing on adhesive rubber, what we think is important is the difference in hardness between the sheet and the sponge. It can be seen that the difference in hardness between the sheet and the sponge is very close to 0 for the Hurricane NEO III blue sponge for the provincial team. On the other hand, you can see that the seat of Dignics 05, which has a hard seat and is difficult to bite into, is 2° or more harder. You can see that the moon blue sponge is 4 degrees harder than the sponge, and the Jupiter II blue sponge is about 6 degrees harder. As you can see, rubber with a sponge that is harder than the seat is characterized by being easy to show outstanding ball retention. I think that it will be a rubber that can be used on the back side depending on the person because it is easy to feel the ball holding strongly, so it is easy to make a high quality loop drive. The 36° Jupiter II Blue Sponge is also on sale, so I think it can be used as a bag.

Jupiter II blue sponge paste and weight

I pasted it on the Pro-13S. Jupiter II blue sponge is pasted on the outer carbon side. I pasted Dignics 05 on the inner carbon side.

Jupiter II Blue Sponge
・Sponge Thickness:2.2 mm
・Sponge Stiffness:36°、39°
・3,480 yen + tax
・77 g (before cut) → 52 g (after cut)

It was a sticky adhesive rubber that seems to be made in China. Recent German-made adhesive tension rubbers, such as Rasanter C53 and Omega VII China Ying, do not have a sticky feeling, but Chinese-made adhesive rubbers still have a good stickiness. I think there are different tastes in this area.

Three features of Jupiter II Blue Sponge

Easy to handle and high quality loop drive like a Hurricane blue sponge!

I felt that the Jupiter II Blue Sponge certainly has a shot feeling similar to the Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the provincial team. The shot feeling is clearly different from the so-called Fukyo NEO3. Jupiter II Blue Sponge is close to the Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the Ministry Team in a good way, so it is a rubber that I would like to recommend to those who cannot afford the Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the Ministry Team because it is expensive! Also, the ball holding is outstanding, so it was very easy to do a high-quality loop drive. Other galaxy sticky rubbers such as Venus Blue Sponge and Apollo 5 were stiff and easy to play, so I felt it was difficult to rotate with a speed drive, but Jupiter II Blue The sponge is easy to rotate even with a speed drive, and I think it’s a rubber close to the Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the Ministry of Teams. I had a pretty good impression of this area. Speaking of greed, 39° is still a little soft, so I personally prefer a little harder one, and the Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the Ministry of Teams was still better in terms of rotation performance and habits. However, the Hurricane NEOIII Blue Sponge for the provincial team is expensive, so I thought that Jupiter II Blue Sponge was a pretty good rubber if I thought it was a cheap version.

It’s easier to hit a speed drive than Hurricane Blue Sponge!

Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the Ministry of Teams is still super strong, so if you don’t use a method that suits your needs, you won’t be able to take full advantage of its high performance. Also, Hurricane is a rubber that is difficult to speed up, so I think it is necessary to compensate for the speed according to the outer ALC blade racket. I think this hit is the difficult part of Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for provincial teams. With the Jupiter II blue sponge, the speed drive was more stable than I imagined because it was soft. I think that this area is a rubber that can be driven more easily than leopard. However, its speed performance is also at a level that is better than hurricane-type rubber, and it may be easy to be dissatisfied with its speed performance compared to spin-type tension rubber. I imagine that this is a part where tastes are greatly divided. If possible, I imagine that the overall power can be increased by pasting it on an outer ALC blade racket to supplement the speed. If you still want to use Chinese-made adhesive rubber, the racket should be made of inner carbon (such as Hurricane Long V, which is said to be closer to outer than inner carbon) or so-called ALC type outer carbon (Zhang Jike ALC). ) or Lin Gaoyuan ALC), you may be a little worried about speed performance.

It is easy to put on the table, just an honor student rubber

After all, it is an adhesive rubber, so there is a tremendous sense of security on the table. Although it is not a rubber that specializes in rotation, you can get the same amount of rotation as the top rubber of the spin type tension rubber, and it may pale in comparison to the amount of spin of the Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the Ministry of Teams. However, it is also a rubber that is easier to handle than the Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the provincial team, so I think it will be an honor student rubber. An excellent balanced rubber, including the price, will be the Jupiter II Blue Sponge.

Each technical review

Forehand

Light hit
A sticky rubber-like hitting feeling was transmitted. I think that it is good for those who want to hit the ball slowly.

Driving long balls and rallies
Compared to spin-type tension rubber, the speed is slow because it settles well. Compared to the latest spin type tension rubber Evolution MX-D, the speed is still slow. It’s a stiff sponge, so I think you can hit the drive with a taste if you hit it.

Drive with open face
After all, when hitting a speed drive with a Chinese adhesive rubber, I felt that it was easier to hit by opening the surface and applying rotation while flipping.

Top spin (loop) drive against back spin
It was easy to hit a very high quality loop drive. I think that the Hurricane NEO III Blue Sponge for the provincial team can achieve a higher quality including shallowness and the sinking of the ball, but I think that the Jupiter 2 Blue Sponge can also hit a high-quality loop drive that can score enough points. .

Stop / push
Because it grips, it was very easy to stop. nice one!

Serve
It was good that the amount of rotation of the lower rotation could be obtained even with the serve that involved because it was an adhesive rubber. However, the serve as a whole is slow, so I think it’s better to check the power of a fast long serve and the quality of missing the opponent’s timing.

Backhand

Light hit
I have the ball!

Driving long balls and rallies
When you go down, the slowness of the ball stands out. This area may depend on your backhand technique. However, since it is easy to rotate, I thought that there was a great sense of stability.

Block
Since the seat is soft, I felt that it was easily affected by the rotation of the other party.

Chiquita
It’s really easy to do. Chiquita with a high sense of stability was made. The power (speed and amount of spin) may be a little low.
