Review Vega Tour

Explanation

Korean table tennis maker XIOM is famous for two types of rubber series, the Vega series with good cost performance and the Omega series, which is a high-end model. Actually, I feel that the racket has a strong presence. This is exactly the royal road, 5 plywood ALLROUND S (all round S, 5,000 yen + tax), 7 plywood EXTREME S (extreme S, 5,200 yen + tax), outer carbon Stradivarius (9,000 yen + tax) We sell Ice Cream AZX, Ice Cream AZXi, etc., which are not found in other manufacturers, while having good cost performance. And Brazilian hard hitter Hugo Calderano signed a contract with XIOM, and even after changing the equipment, the world tour ranking has risen to a single digit! The Hugo Hyper Axylium and Omega VII Tour used by Calderano are also soaring in popularity. Also, Korean iron wall block and Chiquita Jeoung Youngsik will be using Ice Cream AZXi and Omega VII Pro.

The Vega Tour will be reviewed on this page. It will be a rubber with a tour as the highest peak of the Vega series. Like the latest Vega X, this Vega Tour is an ERASTO FUTURA rubber that uses CYCLOID, DYNAMIC FRICTION, and CARBO SPONFE technologies. I think it is a rubber that sets it apart from the previous Omega V series and Vega series. Let’s talk about Xiom’s rubber and its technology.

・MAX AT 4
Technology that applies maximum tension within the limits of official rules.

・ELASTO FUTURA
Comprehensive technology installed in the Omega VII series, Vega Tour, and Vega X. Three special tunings of "CYCLOID", "DYNAMIC FRICTION", and "CARBO SPONGE" are integrated into one rubber, delicate ball touch, unparalleled grip, and epoch-making elasticity. Technology to realize.

・DYNAMIC FRICTION (DF)
Rubber surface processing technology born from snow tires that exert sufficient friction even on snow. Technology that firmly grasps a plastic ball with a slippery surface and creates more rotational energy.

・CYCLOID
With technology that increases the player's probability, the arc line of the ball is naturally high, reduces net mistakes in the block, and allows the ball to enter the opponent's court as deeply as possible, with a design that carefully calculates the ratio of rotation amount and flight distance. Technology that conveys high speed and powerful energy to the drive.

・CARBO SPONGE
Technology to mix carbon particles in sponge. Technology that can interact with the top sheet with the force to firmly grasp the ball and the catapult effect.

・HYPER ELASTO
A technology developed to replace the effect of speed glue, which was banned in 2008. Technology that realizes the shot feeling, hitting sound, flight distance, and rotational force as if used without speed glue. There are variations such as "IMB" with improved acceleration performance and "CST" that pursues the height of the arc line.

・TENSOR
A technology developed by XIOM that gives a tension effect similar to speed glue. A technology that keeps the structure of rubber molecules taut and semi-permanently. With "TENSOR" rubber, you can easily speed up and spin a ball without using extra effort. Based on this technology, we added our own consideration and arrangement to complete the "HYPER ELASTO" technology.

・BIOS
Like "TENSOR", it is a clean rubber manufacturing technology developed by XIOM. Technology that does not generate or mix substances that have an adverse effect on the environment or carcinogens during the manufacturing process. "BIOS" rubber thoroughly eliminates harmful substances, and anyone from manufacturing staff to players who use rubber can use it without worrying about the environment and health. A symbol of high performance and clean rubber.

The Vega X, Vega Tour, and Omega VII series are all rubbers with the same technical symbol, ELASTO FUTURA, and all rubbers are carbon sponge and dynamic friction, so the sponge is black. The seat is a dynamic friction (DF) specification seat and is made of rubber with grip.
The Vega Tour reviewed this time will be the rubber sold after the Omega VII series. Basically, I think that XIOM’s rubber has no problem with the following image.

Pro: A rubber that is the base of the series.
Euro: Soft and easy to handle.
Asia: Slightly harder than professionals, with an emphasis on rotation.
Tour: The most high-performance and difficult-to-handle rubber in the series that will satisfy top players.
Regarding the Vega Tour, what you should pay attention to is the cost performance (cospa)! The price of the Vega Tour is 4,500 yen + tax, which is about two-thirds of the price of the Omega 7 series, which is the same technology as the regular price of 7,000 yen + tax. There is also a discount at the table tennis shop, so it will be in the 3,000 yen range. Then, I would like to review it, including the differences from Vega X.

The Vega Tour is described in the pamphlet as follows:

Advent of King of Vega
The series flagship product, Vega Tour, which broke the shell of the conventional Vega and appeared as a performance-piercing existence. The biggest feature is that it is equipped with the cycloid technology adopted in the Omega VII series, which is the highest peak of XIOM. The thin and supple top sheet sharpens the player's senses and constantly creates high-quality balls with high speed and high spin. Among them, the 45 degree medium soft sponge makes the shot feeling mild, so it does not lose the same friendliness as the conventional Vega series. The Vega Tour is the king of Vega who has dignity and strength but is kind. Its greatest advantage is that it can easily fly the ball due to its outstanding elasticity. If you use it on the fore side, for players who want to emphasize the power of one shot. If you use it on the back side, it is recommended for players who want to push their opponents in high pitch meetings. In either case, thanks to the top sheet that enables delicate touch, there is no worry about rotational techniques such as service, stop, and loop drive. The Vega Tour will be the best choice when middle class players with a certain level of control skills seek more power.

Published performance value

画像に alt 属性が指定されていません。ファイル名: OmegaVTDF.png

The Vega Tour is the highest performing rubber in the Vega series. Its high performance is higher than the published performance values of Vega X and Omega V Tour! Still, the sponge hardness is 45 degrees, which is softer than Vega X and Omega 5 Tour DF. It is a rubber crowned with a tour, and it can be said that the speed performance and spin performance are at a level comparable to Omega VII (Omega 7).

Vega Tour Paste and Weight

Vega Tour
ELASTO FUTURA (CYCLOID, DYNAMIC FRICTION, CARBO SPONGE)
    TENSOR
    BIOS
・Sponge Thickness: 2.0 / max mm
・Speed: 12.0
・Spin: 12.0
・Sponge stiffness: 45.0°
・4,500 yen + tax
・70 g (before cut) → 48 g (after cut)

The weight was surprisingly light, 48 g! I think it’s a rubber that can be used for both the fore and back. I’m glad that this lightweight and performance comparable to the Omega 7 series.

Three features of Vega Tour

This is King of Vega! Easy to handle and high rotation performance!

The special feature of Vega Tour is that it has high performance even though it is a medium sponge of 45 °! The seat is soft and easy to handle, yet I really like the high rotation performance! I think that the rotation performance is at a level comparable to Tenergy 05 if it is in good condition. Since the rubber is soft, the arch line tends to be high, and it was a good impression that the rubber is soft but it rotates firmly. The softness is exquisite, and if it is softer, you will feel energy loss, and if it is harder, you will need swing speed. Compared to the series in which the Omega 7 series has a feature in speed, it can be said that the Vega Tour has a feature in rotational performance while adopting the same technology!
The similar rubber is Rasanter R48! The maximum rotation amount may be higher on the R48 that bites in more, but I felt that the cost performance and grip power were higher on the Vega Tour.

Rubber that is especially easy to drive!

Both the sheet and sponge were soft and easy to bite into, so it was easy to drive. Especially with a loop drive or a chiquita with a strong rotation, it was easy to hold the ball firmly and catch it thinly and it was stable and easy to do. Also, I’m glad I didn’t go too fast due to the speed of the ball coming off and the goodness of popping out. On the other hand, I personally felt that it was a little difficult to do with meat-based technology, and I felt that it was easy to drive and other rotations without permission like Tenergy 05 because it bites firmly. You may like this area, but I think it’s a rubber that suits the backhand of players who mainly think about driving and chiquita like boys, and the fore of female players who mainly think about driving.

Rubber with a softer sheet than other XIOM rubber

Vega X and Omega V Tour DF have DYNAMIC FRICTION technology applied to the seat, which makes the seat hard but grips the ball, but Vega Tour has dynamic friction. However, the sheet was soft and the sponge was a good rubber to bite into. I felt that this softness created high ease of handling and control performance. Still, I really like the fact that the rotation performance is equal to or better than the Vega X and Omega 5 Tour DF. The Vega X and Omega 5 Tour DF are rubbers that have lower arch lines and tend to have higher power and speed for smash and speed drive, but when used mainly in the back, the Vega Tour is safer for ease of handling and rotation performance. It was a rubber with a feeling!

Each technics review

Fore hand

Light hit
I felt that the softness was a little noticeable when used in the foreground.

Drive on long balls and rallies
Although it has a high sense of stability and spin performance, it cannot be denied that it lacks speed when compared to Dignics 05. The course control is good because it is soft, but I feel that it is too soft in the foreground.

Drive with open face
I felt a little lack of speed because it was soft. I feel energy loss.

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
I felt a very strong ball holding. I think the soft arc line is also high. However, if it is the fore, I think that the harder it is, the stronger the amount of rotation can be obtained.

Speed drive against back spin
It was easy to hit because it was soft. I think the amount of rotation is small.

Block
It was a little susceptible to rotation. You need to get used to this area.

Counter drive
After all it is easy to be affected by rotation. I think that it is more stable to hit with the image that the arc line will be higher like counter drive with Tenergy 05. I think Vega X sometimes slipped, but I thought the Vega Tour was soft but less slippery.

Stop
It was easy to stop. Since the seat is strong, the rubber as a whole is soft, but it is a good rubber that is easy to stop!

Push
It was good without slipping. There is a feeling that it pops out a little, and I think the Omega 5 Tour DF is easier to cut.

Serve
It was easy to rotate. I think that it will take more rotation to insert it firmly than to cut it vertically.

Back hand

Light hit
I felt good with the ball firmly.

Drive on long balls and rallies
Even in the rally of the upper rotation, it was easy to drive like a loop drive. It was easy to hit a mountain ball slowly. I think that if you get used to it, you can speed up.

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
It was as easy or better than the Omega 5 Tour DF.

Speed drive against back spin
It was easy to do because it was soft.

Cure / shoot drive
It is an impression that it bends like Vega X. I think that you can make mistakes by changing at hand by inserting horizontal rotation.

Block
After all it was easy to be affected by rotation. I think it’s easier to bite into smash and knuckle balls.

Counter drive
It was difficult. It’s a lack of practice.

Stop
It was easy to do despite its softness.

Push
Rather than cutting it, I liked the flowing and fast Tsuttsuki.

Chiquita
It was easy to make an arc and it was easy to do. It was good that horizontal rotation was easy to enter.

Comparison with other rubbers (personal impressions)

Spin amount
 Tenergy 05 ≧ Vega X ≧ Vega Tour ≧ Omega V Tour DF > Tenergy 80 FX

Ease of spin
 Tenergy 05 FX > Vega Tour > Vega X

Speed

Review Evolution MX-D

説明

We would like to review TIBHAR’s 2021 featured product, Evolution MX-D. Speaking of TIBHAR, it’s a German manufacturer contracted by Belarusian giant Vladimir Samsonov, who has finally announced his retirement! Recently, GC Foerster, who is one of a former Dutch national team players and was also a private coach of Jun Mizutani, is increasing his presence by selling TIBHAR on You Tube, and Bernadette Szocs, a beautiful Romanian player, also used TIBHAR’s blade and rubbers. Is the player famous? Slovenian Darko Jorgic, who made Tomokazu Harimoto stand out with a full set at the Tokyo Olympics, is also a TIBHAR contract player! Jorjic has often appeared in shake hands, which operates a table tennis video distribution service and application. It was impressive that he often appeared in the backhand that afflicted Harimoto under the guidance of former Aomori Yamada coach Takashi Itagaki.
It will be such a rubber of TIBHAR. If katsuo000 expresses the characteristics of TIBHAR’s rubber, it will be a rubber with good cost performance, good ball holding, and a very pleasant shot feeling and hitting sound. Although it has the demerit that the spin performance is a little low, it has a good shot feeling as a whole, it is easy to control the ball for its hardness, and there are many rubbers that make table tennis fun. The rubber used mainly by Samsonov as a high-end rubber is the Evolution series for top players. In the Evolution series, a total of 7 types of rubber were sold, with 3 types of hardness, 2 types of sheets, and 50 °, which is even harder only for MX-P. The three types of hardness are MX (maximum = approx. 47.5 °), EL (elastic = approx. 43 °), and FX (flexible = approx. 40 °). And the two types of sheets are P (power) and S (spin, slightly adhesive sheet). And the 8th type of rubber that appeared is Evolution MX-D, MX-D = Maximum Dynamic, which is reviewed on this page. This MX-D is explained on TIBHAR’s homepage as follows.

Fusion of MX-P and MX-S

The new Evolution, which is extremely popular in the world, is finally here. While maintaining the ease of use of the MX-P, which has both power and stability, the rotational power of the MX-S is fused. The super hybrid rubber, which is highly acclaimed by top professionals, will debut in the spring of 2021.

http://www.tibhar.jp/rubber.htm

In the past, katsuo000 has tried multiple Tiber’s rubbers. Of these, the Evolution MX-P is the most notable. The reason why the MX-P should be noted is that it has a similar shot feeling to that world standard, Tenergy 05! The Evolution MX-P was one of the best choices when the Tenergy series was inevitably expensive and had a short lifespan. The MX-D that appeared this time is the latest high-end rubber, so the price is 6,500 yen + tax, which is 500 yen higher than the 6,000 yen + tax of the Evolution series so far. It’s a fairly confident work, and in recent years post-Tenergy rubber (andro’s Rasanter R53 etc.) that exceeds Tenergy has been released one after another from Germany, so I also felt a lot of expectations for MX-D.

Tenergy series can only be produced at Butterfly’s own factory, making it a rubber that differentiates it from other competing table tennis makers. While other competing table tennis makers basically outsource rubber manufacturing, Butterfly, despite being a table tennis maker, owns a rubber manufacturing factory and develops its own technology to manufacture sponges. You’re trying to differentiate yourself! Of course, I think that rubber manufacturers outsourced to overturn such a situation have also advanced technological development. I think that the early post-Tenergy rubber supplemented the rotation performance by thickening the seat in order to compete with the Tenergy series with high rotation performance.

Click here for the relationship between seat shape and performance: https://katsuo000.com/topsheet_shape/

I think the early post-Tenergy rubbers are, for example, Fastarc G-1, Rakza X, Evolution MX-P. I think the MX-P was a popular rubber because it has a similar shot feel to the Tenergy 05. I think that the seat is thinner than the G-1, and the shot feeling is closer to the Tenergy 05 than the G-1. Also, the sponge is red, conscious of the orange sponge of the Tenergy series. I think the MX-P was developed in pursuit of shot feeling rather than performance.

I bought and tried the MX-D this time because I thought it was a rubber that was classified as a post-Tenergy tension rubber or an evolved Tenergy tension rubber in katsuo000. Apparently, instead of using a thick sheet like the post-Tenergy rubber of the early days, it seems that a thin sheet is used! It seems that the technology has advanced so that thin sheets can be adopted for Rasanter R53 and Rasanter R48, which are classified into the same post-Tenergy tension or evolutionary Tenergy tension in katsuo000. I felt that STIGA’s new DNA Platinum series also adopted similar technology. I imagine that MX-D is the result of similar technology without exception. As a result of the advanced technology of the German factory, I imagine that high-performance rubber will continue to be sold from the German factory. This is something I’m looking forward to as a tool reviewer!

The Evolution MX-D reviewed on this page is the hardest rubber in the Evolution series. Yu-san, a table tennis equipment specialist, also praised “D is good!”! Although it is a hard rubber with a hardness of 51.5 ° according to German standards, it can be imagined that it is a rubber that is easy to handle because it is hard to break the hardness like Tenergy. Let’s review it!

Published performance value

You can see that Evolution MX-D is a spin type tension rubber with the highest spin performance and speed performance among TIBHAR rubbers! In addition, the hardness comparison by a hardness tester, which shows a certain degree of correlation with ease of handling, is shown below.

Compared to Butterfly’s rubber, I think MX-D is a rubber that is closer to Dignics than Tenergy. This is because the difference in hardness between the shore a sheet and the sponge side is as small as that of Dignics. Rubber with a small difference in hardness tends to be more common in German tension rubber, and MX-D may be said to be a rubber finished like German tension as before while using the latest technology. What was surprising is that the hardness difference is larger than the Evolution MX-P 50 ° and Quantum X Pro! It may be a rubber that is easier to handle than I expected.

Evolution MX-D weight and paste

The Evolution MX-D weighed 53 g. I expected it, but it’s still heavy and sweaty.

Evolution MX-D
Spin Tension
・Sponge thickness: 1.9 mm, 2.1 mm
・Spin: 125
・Speed: 135
・Sponge stiffness: 51.5
・6,500 yen + tax
・76 g (before cut) → 53 g (after cut)

Three features of Evolution MX-D

This time is also inner carbon. I felt it was easy to handle. Please note that the image may be different if it is attached to the outer carbon.

The hitting sound is high and the ball is released quickly! And the feeling of running is strong!

Perhaps because it was a trial hit in a small place installed in a table tennis shop, I felt a sense of speed in the ball. It felt like I was hitting with outer carbon, which made me feel good. The hitting sound is very high, so it was fun to use! The arch line is low, and although it has a sense of speed, it has sunk firmly, so it is straight, but I think it is more stable than I expected.
I also felt the speed of leaving the ball. The bite is good, but I felt that the ball was released quite quickly, so I think this is probably due to the grain shape of the sheet. The grains are fine and the distance between the grains is wide. I think this is the part where you can understand your taste! As an image, I felt that the ball was released faster than the Rasanter R53, which I felt was like the Butterfly Tenergy 80, so it may be closer to the 64 series seat as an image. .. DNA Platinum XH (DNA Platinum Extra Hard) has a pretty grip and the seat feels like 05, and I also felt that each was separated. in short
DNA Platinum XH (STIGA): Similar to Tenergy 05
Rasanter R53 (andro): Similar to Tenergy 80
Evolution MX-D (TIBHAR): Similar t0 Tenergy 64 (little bit Tenergy 80)
about it. It is a rubber with similar hardness, but I felt that each characteristic has come out!

It was said that the rotation performance of MX-S and the ease of handling of MX-P, but I personally felt that it is a rubber that is differentiated by the position of 64-like rubber among the latest high-end rubber made in Germany. rice field. I felt that the spin performance was a little mature, but I felt that the speed performance was higher than R53. I think you can choose to supplement the speed of trendy inner carbon and wood rubber.

Good bite that does not make you feel 51.5 °!

While feeling the speed of leaving the ball, the bite was not a rubber that could not be handled better than I imagined. At 51.5 °, it seems to be as hard as an adhesive rubber, but I think it is not such a rubber, but a rubber that is easy to handle with a good sponge bite. Since the ball is released quickly, I felt that some people would use it on the back side as well.

As it is touted as a fusion of MX-P and MX-S, if you compare it with butterfly rubber, I think that it is a rubber like a fusion of Tenergy and Dignics! The sponge is a little difficult to handle because it has increased the strength of the seat while increasing the tenacity, but I think that it is a rubber that is easy to counter drive and if you use it well, you can get more rotation than before. I also see reviews that say that it became easier to handle by using it. Perhaps the sheet is thicker or stiffer and is also aimed at differentiating it from Tenergy 05 or MX-P. It’s an impression that whether or not you can handle it depends on how difficult it is to get into this hard sheet. Since the grain shape is thin and the grain spacing is a little wide, it is designed with the Butterfly grain shape of 80 or 64, which seems to supplement the speed performance. As a whole, it can be said that it is a rubber that has been firmly differentiated among the evolutionary Tenergy rubbers made in Germany these days. As mentioned above, although it is a rubber with 64 points, the rotation performance is the same as Tenergy 05, it is easy to counter drive because the seat is strong, and it is a rubber that can compete with the rotation performance of the adhesive rubber with counter + speed, I think. Just as France’s Simon Gauzy is rampaging on the Rasanter R53, for example, Paul Drinkhall, who is a Japanese killer player (Yuya Oshima and recently Mizuki Oikawa also lost), is also TIBHAR contract. I imagined that it would be possible for Slovenia’s Jorzic (winning Tomokazu Harimoto) and Slovenia’s player (winning the player) to rampage using the MX-D.

High spin performance

It was sometimes said that the MX-P had a slightly lighter ball, but the MX-D did not, but rather drew the arc when I wanted to. I also felt that push was easy to do, and that the ease and quality of push, which are the characteristics of MX-S, were inherited. At least, I felt the outstanding rotation performance of TIBHAR’s spin tension rubber, which was easy to feel dissatisfied with the spin performance until now! Anyway, the shot feeling is good, so it was good that the rotation performance was improved firmly while it was fun (the rubber corrects it even if you do not pay attention to the fine angle and swing). I felt that this area was like Tiber’s rubber.

Each technology review

Forehand

Drive on the rally
The speed is quite high and the sound is good! It feels good.

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
I didn’t feel much spin.

Speed drive against back spin
Speed drive feels good because it has a good bite!

Block
It was easier than I expected. It bites in, but it’s an image of canceling due to its weight and hardness.

Push
I felt that I could fly the ball while gripping it. At least I don’t think it felt like it was flying like Rasanter V47.

Serve
I felt that the amount of rotation was a little small and it was too soft.

Backhand

Drives on the rally
Since the ball is released a little early, I felt that a little skill was required. However, I was surprised that it was easy to handle for 51.5 °. If the ball is fast and you can hit it comfortably, there is MX-D!

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
Although it entered, I felt that the amount of rotation was a little insufficient.

Speed drive against back spin
This was easy to do.

Push
It didn’t fly at all than I expected and it felt good. I’m glad I was able to make push quite aggressively.

Review Omega VII China Ying

Explanation

Review the year’s adhesive tension rubber, Omega VII China Ying. First, let’s take a look at Xiom’s rubber.
Speaking of Xiom rubber, the Vega series, which has increased its presence as a low-priced version of monster rubber, is famous. In particular, Vega Euro is very popular as a rubber used by beginners and intermediate players. In addition, the rubber Vega X, which has recently become a hot topic as the strongest cost performance and has been viewed more than Dignics 09C in this blog, is also a representative rubber of Xiom. Xiom has many high-performance and high-cost rubber.
The Omega series is a top-class rubber for those who want to improve their level while attracting users with this easy-to-use and cost-effective Vega series.
The Omega series has traditionally been a speed-oriented series, with the IV (Four) series combined with Vega’s rotational performance, the V (Five) specializing in rotational performance and grip, and the low arch wire and competitive strength. VII (Seven) large 3 series is still on sale. Not all rubbers have been tried out on katsuo000, but we have tried out representative rubbers centered on the Omega VII series. There are many rubbers with a mad shot feeling as a whole, and if anything, it is an impression that there are many rubbers that give a taste by using it on the fore side. The rubber of the Omega series that I have tried so far was as follows.

・ Vega Tour
The highest performance rubber in Vega. A sponge with an intermediate hardness of 45 ° makes it easy to bite and handle. If it can be bitten and handled, the amount of rotation is as tenacious.
:

・ Vega X
The highest costa rubber in the Vega series released to commemorate the 10th anniversary. Both the seat and sponge are harder than Vega Tour, and I personally feel that the amount of rotation when mastered is more than Vega Tour. Rubber that is easy to do with modern technology such as counter performance. It is also very popular and is rapidly increasing in popularity on this blog.
:

・ Omega V Tour DF
Compared to the Omega VII series, it is a rubber that has a lighter shot feeling, is easier to use, and has a high amount of rotation and grip. The rotation performance is enough like Tenergy 05, and the cost performance is also well reviewed, and it is a good rubber, and it was featured by Yu-san even in the table tennis kingdom. For the weight, the habit of plus alpha and the unique performance feel a little lacking.
:

・ Omega VII Pro
A rubber that is easier to handle than Tenergy 05, yet has power and is easy to handle in the mud, which is not in the Vega series.
:

・ Omega VII Tour
I think it is the highest peak of spin tension in the Omega VII series. It is difficult to maximize the specifications, but if you just use it, you can handle it with a bag. If you can handle it, speed performance and power drive can be said to be the best among spin type tension rubber.
:

・ Omega VII Hyper
A rubber that makes the Omega VII tour more like an adhesive rubber. It is a rubber that can be said to be a spin type tension rubber rather than an adhesive rubber, and it is a rubber that easily produces habit balls. It can be used in the back, but it is difficult to pull it out unless it is in the fore to bring out this high performance and the goodness of the habit ball.
:

For the fore, katsuo000 has used the best rubber such as Hurricane and Dignics 05. To be honest, I haven’t felt any merit compared to those rubbers, and I’m still up to the present. I think that one of the reasons why it is hard to feel the merit is that it is often a mad rubber and it needs power to bite into it. It may be said that it is not a rubber that can be used easily enough to maximize the spin performance. Until now, I haven’t used it continuously, and it may be said that I changed it before reaching the hitting method that was suitable for this rubber. However, there are many rubbers that have a sense of stability even when the way of hitting is not suitable for the rubber, and it will be a rubber series that is easy to handle regardless of the swing.

Published performance value

Let’s compare the published performance values. XIOM is based on Vega Pro from the 2021 catalog value. Both will be posted, so please refer to them.

2020

Since the Omega VII Tour i series has not been announced in 2020, the Omega VII Hyper is treated as the most balanced rubber. Next is the one created from the 2021 pamphlet.

2021

On the other hand, in the 2021 version, the speed and spin of Vega Pro are relative values when it is set to 10. After all, you can see that the OMEGA VII Tour i series has high performance. Omega VII China Shadow emphasizes high spin performance in both 2020 and 2021.

You can see that the Omega VII series is heavy and hard. Omega VII Pro is considered to be easy to handle because it is more difficult than Tenergy 05. On the other hand, the Omega VII Tour, VII Hyper, and VII China Shadows have extraordinary hardness and weight. It can be said that the China shadow is similar to the Dignics 09C in that it is difficult to bite.

Omega VII China Ying Paste and Weight

↑ This white sheet is quite similar to STIGA’s DNA Dragon Grip and Joola’s Rhyzen ZGR. Both are made in Germany and are probably manufactured in a nearby location (factory?). Considering the release date, it may have been this Omega VII China shadow that was actually released earliest. The adhesiveness of the sheet is not very strong, and I think it is a slightly adhesive rubber. It’s a modern adhesive rubber.

After all the rubber of Omega VII is heavy. I have also tried Omega VII Hyper in the past, but the Hyper was 54 g. 57-60 g, which is even heavier than its hyper. .. .. This is a super heavyweight. But isn’t it salvation that it’s not as much as 65g of Nittaku’s Hurricane Pro III Turbo Blue? Also, Virtuoso AC is a little wider than the blade area of the standard racket, so it tends to be heavy. Well, it’s heavy. When I exceed 200 g, I feel heavy and difficult.

To be honest, I couldn’t handle it. It’s a tremendous rubber. However, it was a rubber that strongly felt the excitement while it could not be handled. My favorite is the library from the middle team. When I lowered the hitting point like a leopard, I felt that it was easy to control the amount of rotation and speed by driving with the ball difficult to lift from below. If you do this with Dignics 05, you will either over-miss or get caught on the net. Also, I think that it is different from Hurricane because it is not completely handled, but it was that even from the middle team, it was possible to get faster than Hurricane. I would like to continue using it for a while.

A monster-like amount of spin and habits! Approaching the Hurricane!

It was also featured in the World Table Tennis Kingdom, but the monster-like amount of rotation and habit of Omega VII China’s shadow is amazing! When I was able to drive with my body firmly in, the ball’s harshness was something I had never seen before! Roughness was rather similar to Rasanter R53, and it was rough so that the lateral rotation remained as it was. I didn’t feel the ball sinking so much, but I think it may not have been handled. It was a rubber that felt the vision that if it could be handled completely, it would be possible to freely perform both speed drive and super-rotating loop drive!
It has a high potential, and I felt that it was the one and only rubber that could approach the leopard if it was handled. Still, the price is cheaper than Hurricane (blue sponge)! This is interesting!

Even though it’s an adhesive (tacky) rubber, it bounces like spin tension rubber!

Although it is an adhesive rubber, what surprised me was its speed performance. Coupled with the fact that I tried it in a small table tennis field, I felt the speed performance was comparable to that of spin-type tension rubber. Because the rubber is hard, it was easy to hit it like playing, but once the speed drive was decided, it was fast enough to punch through. On the other hand, in order to handle it, I also thought that it was necessary to let it bite firmly and spin the ball instead of playing it. I think it has tremendous potential.
Also, because it pops out well, I felt that the racket should be wood or an inner carbon racket. Fore felt that the outer ALC was good for power, but I felt that the outer carbon was too bouncing to take advantage of its characteristic rotational performance. As for the back, I wanted to use Dignics 05 for the inner ALC, so I felt it was just right. However, due to the Omega VII China Ying, Dignics 05 is also harder and easier to feel, so I think it is better to balance it well.

Extremely difficult to handle! Weight measures are essential!

Anyway, it was a rubber that was hard to hit as I imagined, so I could not understand the reason. This is a rampage horse unless it can be used and handled for a long time. Currently, I am thinking of continuing to use it, but first of all, it is heavy, so I am considering how to extend it as a measure against weight. With this, it seems that the upper limit of weight can finally be reduced to the 57 g level. I also decided to take all the side balancers. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of features and performance will come out in the future.

Fore hand

Light hit
I didn’t really care about the light hits. That’s how much it bounces. When the light hits continued, I tried to push the racket forward like pushing the racket, but the ball still goes up and enters. There was a strong sense of discomfort and habit around here as well.

Drive on long balls and rallies
I wasn’t used to it yet, and it was easy to hit it in a way that was suitable for spin-type tension rubber, and when I hit it with a strong impact, I often played it without being able to fully rotate it. The swing speed is still too slow, and I think I haven’t been able to open the surface. The experience of lacking my power and swing speed in the foreground has been a feeling since I started studying for the test when I was in junior high school. I was excited for the first time in 20 years. I want to practice hard and get used to it! Also, I was surprised and felt the high potential that the speed drive was able to hit even from the middle team. I think it is necessary to adjust the spin tension rubber in consideration of the rotation of the opponent, but with this Omega VII China shadow, it was nice to have a feeling of screwing in.

Drive with open face
It seems to be an adhesive rubber, it was easier to speed drive by opening the surface for downward rotation hitting etc. The speed performance was perfect. I want to be able to handle more and add rotation to speed.

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
It was shallow and easy to drive with a large amount of rotation. However, because it bounces for its hardness, the ball is easy to float, and it was difficult to put out a low loop drive. You will get used to this area.

Speed drive against back spin
This is also easy to get speed, so I almost went flat. If you sink the ball by rotating it firmly, you will get a stable and aggressive speed drive.

Curve / shoot drive
Side spin is also easy to remain, and this area was a pretty good impression. Of course, it is said that it is better to open the surface of the adhesive rubber because it is easier to rotate due to the impact, but I also felt that this rubber could create a new habit by getting caught. Especially in the de library, the taste will come out.

Block
It bounced so it didn’t fall. This also made me feel uncomfortable.

Counter drive
As I get used to it, I feel that I can do the most stable and comfortable counter drive so far.

Stop
This was good! It was easy to cut.

Push
It was easy to cut it and send it low. This alone seemed to be a weapon.

Fore flick
It bounces, but I think it is more stable if it is sunk by rotating it. It was easy to do.

Serve
The number of service ace has increased. As you get used to it, the amount of rotation is very good.

Review Omega V Tour DF

Explanation

Korean table tennis maker XIOM is famous for two types of rubber series, the Vega series with good cost performance and the Omega series, which is a high-end model. You sell rackets such as Ice Cream, which other manufacturers do not have. The high-end rubber series Omega series is currently mainly composed of two series, V (five) and VII (seven). Brazilian hard hitter Hugo Calderano has signed a contract with XIOM, and even after changing the equipment, the world tour ranking has risen to a single digit! The Hugo Hyper Axylium and Omega VII Tour used by Calderano are also soaring in popularity. Also, Korean iron wall block and Chiquita Jeoung Youngsik will be using Ice Cream AZXi and Omega VII Pro.

The Omega V Tour DF reviewed on this page is the rubber of the Omega V series. The concept of the OMEGA 5 series is that it has a grip that holds the ball securely, holds the ball firmly, and has a strong arc and a strong amount of rotation. All Omega 5 series are priced at 5,200 yen + tax, but if discounted, they will be available for purchase at the same 3,000 yen level as the Vega series. Although it is a high-end model, it can be said that it is a series with a very good cost performance. There are four types of Omega 5 series on the pamphlet, in addition to the tour DF reviewed this time, Omega V Pro (Omega 5 Pro), soft Omega V Euro DF (Omega 5 Euro DF), Omega V Asia DF with the highest hardness in the series (Omega V Asia DF) Omega 5 Asia DF) is on sale. I will mention Xiom’s rubber, including DF, and its technology.

・MAX AT 4
Technology that applies maximum tension within the scope of official rules.

Rubber surface processing technology born from snow tires that exert sufficient frictional force even on snow. Technology that firmly grasps a plastic ball with a slippery surface and creates more rotational energy.

・CYCLOID
With technology that increases the probability of the player, the arc line of the ball is naturally high, reduces net mistakes in the block, and the ball enters the opponent's court as deeply as possible, the ratio of the amount of rotation and the flight distance is calculated precisely by the design. Technology that conveys high speed and powerful energy to the drive.

・CARBO SPONGE
Technology to mix carbon particles in sponge. Technology that can interact with the top sheet with the force to firmly grasp the ball and the catapult effect.

・HYPER ELASTO
Technology developed to replace the effect of speed glue, which was banned in 2008. Technology that realizes the shot feeling, hitting sound, flight distance, and rotational force as if used without speed glue. There are variations such as "IMB" with improved acceleration performance and "CST" that pursues the height of the arc line.

・TENSOR
Technology developed by XIOM that has the same tension effect as speed glue. A technology that keeps the structure of rubber molecules taut and semi-permanently. With "TENSOR" rubber, you can easily speed up and spin a ball without using extra effort. Based on this technology, we added our own consideration and arrangement to complete the "HYPER ELASTO" technology.

・BIOS
Similar to "TENSOR", clean rubber manufacturing technology developed by XIOM.

The seat is a dynamic friction (DF) specification seat and is a rubber with grip. The Omega V Tour DF reviewed this time is also a rubber equipped with DF (Dynamic Friction). The Omega 5 Series is a rubber that was not adopted by DF at the time of sale. After that, it seems that it was sold under the name of DF (Dynamic Friction), which is compatible with plastic balls.

The Omega 5 Tour DF is described in the pamphlet as follows:

A hard-core and robust play companion
Optimized topsheet and sponge for plastic balls ensure ball grip in any situation. The seat structure, which is densely packed with low grains, creates a firm shot feeling and a fierce spin ball. While having a robust strength that is comparable to the power of the opponent's ball, the effect of the elastic sponge can give a long distance. Unmistakable play and strength-Omega V Tour DF plays an active role as your foreground rubber aiming for hard table tennis.

The OMEGA 5 Tour DF is the highest performing rubber in the OMEGA 5 Series. However, it is worth noting that the Omega 5 Asia DF, which has a harder sponge hardness, has higher performance. Still, the Omega 5 Tour DF has higher performance than rubber other than the Vega Tour. Since it is a rubber crowned with a tour, it was very well balanced and I did not feel any low performance or slippage. Currently, I’m intensively trying out XIOM’s rubber, but eventually I’d like to summarize it. I will write the general comment again after the review of Vega Tour, so thank you.
In 2020, the Omega 5 Tour DF was tested by Yu-san of the World Table Tennis Kingdom in the form of a tool test. It was highly evaluated and was praised for the height of the arc and the high amount of rotation. I wanted to confirm this point, and it was a very exciting trial. Video ↓

Omega 5 Tour DF sticking and weight

From this time, it is posted on Zhang Jike ALC (Zhang Jike ALC).

Omega V Tour DF
    HYPER ELASTO
    TENSOR
    BIOS
    DYNAMIC FRICTION
・Sponge Thickness: 2.0 / max mm
・Speed: 11.0
・Spin: 11.8
・Sponge stiffness: 47.5°
・5,200 yen + tax
・72 g (before cut) → 51 g (after cut)

The weight was over 50 g as expected, but the OMEGA 5 Tour DF had a light feel. Once again, XIOM’s Omega 7 series feels like a heavy, adhesive rubber-like mad shot feeling. On the other hand, although the same ELASTO FUTURA is adopted, Vega Tour and Vega X are not so mad, but the impression of rubber without habit. And I was surprised at the light and light feel of this OMEGA 5 Tour DF. The mud like adhesive rubber, the weight of the ball, and the speed seem to be the characteristics of the Omega 7 series. On the other hand, the Vega Tour, Vega X, and Omega 5 Series seem to be a little heavy, but like rubber such as Tenergy, I felt that the meat and drive were light rubber. I think it’s a rubber that can be used for both the fore and back.

Three features of Omega V Tour DF

I wasn’t impressed by the strength of the arc line as mentioned in the table tennis kingdom, but overall, the amount of rotation, the balance between speed and rotation, ease of handling, and cost performance were very good! I’m pretty confused about my professional use. It’s not that it doesn’t feel like it’s easy to put on the table like Rakza X, but it’s a little weak, but on the other hand, I like the fact that it’s in the same price range as it is easy to put out a ball with a rotation amount higher than Rakza X. It doesn’t have awesome features, but I think it’s a pretty good rubber! I think the best expression is “high-performance spin-type tension rubber without gluing”. I don’t usually glue it, but I think it’s not a rubber that hits with the elasticity of a sponge, but a rubber that spins with a seat and speeds up with the momentum of a racket.

Rally thinking rubber with characteristic spin performance

I felt that the features of the Omega 5 series, the grip that holds the ball securely, the strong arc and the amount of rotation are not Date! Even if I used it with a backhand with a weak impact, I was able to make a loop drive and push that made me feel a high amount of rotation, which was a good feeling. However, I felt that it was a stable amount of rotation rather than the amount of rotation of drastic spin ball, and I felt that it was a rally-thinking rubber that rally with rotation rather than flying with rotation.
As for the shot feeling, the sheet is hard and the sponge is a little softer than the sheet and it feels easy to bite, but I think that it is a rubber that does not bite so much. It is a rubber that is rotated by the frictional force of the sheet, and I feel that it was more like an adhesive rubber. Of course, both the sheet and sponge have a shape similar to that of spin-type tension rubber, so balls like adhesive rubber did not come out. Therefore, I felt that it is a rubber with high manual performance that can make a solid drive and meet, although it is easy to make a rotation or a ball that reflects the technical power as it is, and I can not hit a drive with a surprising amount of rotation. On the other hand, unlike the spring sponge and CYCLOID sponge, it does not have strong expansion and contraction, and it has a slightly stronger arc line than Dignics 05, which can fly while rotating and sink strongly by rotation. I felt that the strength of the pod sinking and the amount of rotation were unsatisfactory (although it was a bit strict comparison).
Compared to the spring sponge Tenergy and CYCLOID’s Omega VII series, I think it was a rubber that was very easy to counter because it had less good bite. This point was also noteworthy.

It’s easy to spin, but it’s easier to do meat!

Since the ball is easy to grip, I felt that it took some getting used to balancing rotation and playing when trying to run while drawing an arc with speed drive. Rather, the speed ball has momentum, so it’s easier to do meat, and I felt that it was better for the ball to run. I felt that it is rare to find a rotating rubber that makes it so easy to meet. I couldn’t try it that much, but I think that meat hitting and angle hitting are stable. If the hitting point drops, you can use it properly as a loop drive. World Standard (World Standard) Tenergy 05 is a rubber that is very difficult to meet, and if you do not have a good sense of angle hitting, it will rotate without permission. I feel that it is a very characteristic rubber that it can be rotated and it is easy to meet when compared to Tenergy.

Excellent rubber that does not slip and can be rotated compared to other XIOM rubbers

After hitting the Omega 7 Series in turn, I tried the Omega 5 Tour DF, so the first impression of the Omega 5 Tour DF was very easy to use. It was easy to handle with a moderate hardness of 47.5 °, yet it did not slip and it took a lot of rotation, so it felt very good. Especially in terms of ball grip, I felt that it was more than Vega X and it was very easy to do loop drive. Even so, the speed drive for meet and upper rotation runs quite a bit, so considering that it is in the same price range, the Omega 5 Tour DF was a rubber that I wanted to hire for my job rather than the Vega X. The Vega X is a rubber that has a harder sheet and a softer sponge than the Omega 5 Tour DF, so when it spins, it will rotate more than the Omega 5 Tour DF, but it is a little slippery (it is not a pain if you get used to it). I think) I feel. Probably the Omega 5 Tour DF is a rubber that ELASTO FUTURA is not adopted, and I felt that the amount of rotation, the elongation of the ball, and the power were a little unsatisfactory. The strength of the maximum expansion and contraction of the entire sponge or rubber is the Omega 5 Tour compared to the Omega 7 Series, Omega VII Tour, Omega VII Hyper, and Vega X. I felt that DF was a little weaker. However, I felt that the Omega 5 Tour DF was just right for me because the part that does not slip is very good and I can not play table tennis that can rather use slip.

Each technology review

Fore hand

Light hit
The ball is fast. However, I felt that the height, strength, and amount of rotation of the arc line were a little weaker than the Dignics 05 that I usually use.

Drive on long balls and rallies
I understand that it is a strict comparison, but even if you fly it with a spin, the ball will sink firmly with the amount of spin, and even if it is an arch line that overshoots, it seems that all of it will land on the table, but this Omega 5 It was difficult to do it with Tour DF. When I realized that I couldn’t do this, I felt that katsuo000 wouldn’t adopt the foreground. Even so, the feel of hitting and spinning was good.

Drive with open face
I don’t feel like the sponge loses. I thought it was a little hard to feel the elasticity of the rubber, but I also thought that the ball would run.

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
It was a good feeling because I had a ball firmly. As for the shot feeling, I felt that I was able to drive with a high amount of rotation. However, I think the power and weight are a little light.

Speed drive against back spin
It was a rubber with a refreshing feel, and I felt that the arch line was a little low (compared to Dignics 05), but I felt it was a good rubber.

Curve / shoot drive
There wasn’t much biting of the sponge, and I felt that the bend was weak compared to Vega X.

Block
It was good. The counter is easy to do. Since the sheet is hard and the sponge is also hard, I think that it is a rubber that is not easily affected by rotation for the rubber that rotates.

Counter drive
The seats aren’t stiff, but the counter drive was easy to do. It was a little bit good, so it wasn’t uncommon for me to spin around, but overall I felt that I could hit the ball back with the entire rubber. Rather than an arc line due to rotation, the sponge has little change in both good and bad senses, so I think that any ball can be returned with the same drive.

Stop
It was easy to do! The sheet was hard and stopped firmly.

Push
I was able to cut it firmly without slipping. It was also easy to make an aggressive and fast push.

Fore flick
It was a manual rubber, so it was easy to do.

Service
It was good that it was easy to put out a serve that also took spin.

Back hand

Light hit
It was a little easy to fall. The ball was released quickly, and I felt a little lack of technical skills.

Drive on long balls and rallies
I felt a little stiff on the backhand. However, I think it will be enough if you can use it. I also hit a very strong speed drive in the rally of the upper rotation. However, rather than lifting it from the middle team, it seems that it tends to be a fairly straight speed drive.

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
It was easy to do. It was a little slippery with Vega X, or it was so soft that it was easy to feel energy loss, but that was not the case with the Omega 5 Tour DF. It was a good feeling because it was easy to put out the amount of rotation that would make the other party’s mistake.

Speed drive against back spin
The arc line is a little low, and the impression is that net mistakes are conspicuous. I felt that the linearity was strong (compared to Dignics).

Curve / shoot drive
Compared to Vega X, Chiquita had a slightly weaker bend.

Block
It was easy to do. However, there were times when I felt that it would fall off with a little hardness.

Counter drive
It was easy to do. I think it’s a good rubber.

Stop
It was good. I felt that it would fall off with a little hardness.

Push
It was easy to cut and it was easy to make a straight line.

Chiquita
It was easy to make an arc, but it didn’t feel ugly.

卓球王国 2022年1月号

 早田ひな選手のセンター写真ですが、まるで女性雑誌の表紙のようです。美形のトップアスリートが卓球でもっと活躍してほしいですね!

Pick Up Product(ピックアッププロダクト)

・Q Quality / Mizuno(ミズノ)

・Quantum X Pro(クァンタムXプロ) / TIBHAR(ティバー)

・Maple S Center(メイプルSセンター) / Rally Ace(ラリーエース)

Dynaryz ZGR(ダイナライズZGR)の情報も出てました

Review Omega VII Tour

Explanation

This is a review of XIOM’s flagship rubber, the Omega VII Tour. XIOM is a Korean manufacturer, but it also has a solid presence in Japan. Especially for general users, the Vega series rubber may be familiar as a rubber that has been seen once. Vega Euro, Vega Japan, and Vega Asia are the impressions that beginners and intermediates are using as introduction rubbers for spin tensions. In recent years, rubbers that use Dynamic Friction (sheets that do not easily slip) such as Vega Euro DF and Vega Asia DF, which are compatible with plastic balls, are also popular. The Vega series is a rubber for beginners and intermediates, but the rubber that is considered to be the upper model is the Omega series. As of 2020, I think that the Omega V series and the Omega VII series are mainly available. The Omega VII Tour reviewed this time is a rubber that has the highest numerical values in both speed performance and rotation performance among the rubbers of XIOM. It is also used by top players, and seems to be used by Hugo Calderano (Brazil) and Jeoung Young-sik (South Korea), who are in the single digits of the world rankings.

Performance comparison of Omega series

After the sale of the Omega 7 Tour, the Omega VII Hyper and the Omega VII China, which attracted a lot of attention in 2020, also include the light (Guang) and shadow (Ying). Except for Omega 7 Hyper and Omega 7 China, you can see that the Omega 7 Tour has high rotation performance and speed performance. At least the speed performance is the fastest in the Omega series. Also, Omega 7 Hyper is not sticky on the sheet, but is aware of sticky rubber, and Omega 7 China is completely sticky rubber. In other words, the OMEGA 7 Tour can be regarded as the highest peak of spin-type tension rubber in the OMEGA series.

In the explanation of XIOM, a monster rubber that combines a very hard sponge with a sponge hardness of 55 ° and a specially designed sheet in the Omega 7 series, a service that cuts strongly, a stop that stops at will, a changing loop It is said that it is a rubber that is second to none, such as drive, Chiquita, and aggressive power drive. The counter drive does not slip and has a catapult effect that can be doubled.

It’s pretty heavy. I think you will feel that the shot feeling is mad and heavy than the weight on the numbers. I think this area is a part where tastes are likely to differ.

Three features of the Omega VII Tour

It’s hard, but it’s easy to rotate! Even so, the potential is high!

Surprisingly, I think it’s easier to rotate than I expected. I was able to hit the backhand drive enough with my own backhand skill. I think that it is easy to bite into the Omega 7 series in general for its hardness and it is easy to rotate! Also, since the sponge is very hard, I feel that the maximum performance of rotation when the performance of the rubber is maximized is also high! Not only the power drive, but also the loop drive and counter drive, I felt that the technical hurdles at the level of being able to enter the opponent’s court were low with a minimum sense of stability. It’s very easy to use. Still, it feels like you will be able to hit a wonderful ball that is powerful enough to master it. I felt that it was a rare rubber that had both ease of use and high potential.

Anyway, the ball is fast!

I think one of the features of the OMEGA 7 series is its high speed performance. Among the Omega 7 series, the Omega 7 Tour has a fairly hard sponge and rubber weight, so the amount of rotation of the ball and the weight of the ball when the impact is solid are very high. I feel that it is characterized by its high speed performance while having the amount of rotation and weight of the ball. This is a speed rubber like Tenergy 64, and the ball speed is fast, but the amount of rotation of the ball drops, so you feel the power and the amount of rotation are insufficient, but like Tenergy 05. It means that it is a rubber that is easy to produce high speed performance while producing the amount of rotation.

Rally x power!

It’s easy to rotate, so I think it’s a rubber that’s easy to stabilize and easy to bring into the rally! When using Tenergy, the average value of the amount of rotation of the ball when it is rotated is quite high and I feel that the performance is high, but I feel that the technology and impact to apply that rotation are required. On the other hand, I feel that the average value of the amount of rotation is low in the Omega 7 tour because it is easy to rotate. However, although it may be a ball that is easy for the opponent to take, it is easy to spin, so there are few mistakes in the game and it is stable anyway. And since the potential is high, the range of rotation amount is wide, and the rotation amount when hit with a very good impact is equal to or higher than Tenergy! Also, because the speed performance is high, it is easy to take the opponent’s time, and I think that it is easy to take the initiative even in the rally. It can be said that it is a rubber that can produce a powerful ball at the time of a chance in the rally orientation.

Each technology review

Forehand

Light hit
You can feel the hardness of the sponge. The hitting sound is also a high sound like a hard rubber.

Drive on long balls and rallies
I feel the ball go up. The sponge is hard, but I think it’s hard to feel it fall off.

Drive with open face
Since it is a rubber with high potential, it felt very good when I tried to open the surface and rotate and speed, and it seemed that I could achieve both rotation and speed.

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
Since it is a very hard sponge, the amount of rotation of the loop drive is high and I think that it is easy to do a very high loop drive.

Speed drive against back spin
Since the sponge is hard, speed drive to hit with impact may be quite difficult. It is necessary to hit with a considerable impact.

Counter drive
I think it’s easy to do.

Serve
It takes a lot of rotation! Since it grips firmly, you can easily feel that strong rotation is applied.

Backhand

Light hit
It’s still hard. It’s also heavy, so I’m quite tired.

Drive on long balls and rallies
Surprisingly, I can hit it. It was a very good feeling. I think it’s easier to hit a strong ball, but it’s even easier to put in more stably.

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
It was easy to hit. It was fairly stable. I immediately felt that it was easy to enter even if I could not catch the ball in the middle of the racket.

Speed drive against back spin
It was difficult. I think the impact is overwhelmingly insufficient.

Curve / shoot drive
It bends, but I don’t think it’s as stretchy as the Rasanter R53.

Block
It’s not difficult to do, but the seat is easy to get caught, so it’s an impression that it took a lot of rotation.

Counter drive
It was easy to do. I think it will be easier to stabilize if you can catch the top of the ball.

Review Dynaryz AGR

Expalanation

Dynaryz series is Joola’s latest rubber, which will be released in the spring of 2020. As of 2020, it is located in Joola’s latest high-end rubber. Joola is rather a famous manufacturer of large ball table tennis in Japan, and I think that many of you are familiar with it. However, Joola’s equipment is often mentioned when reading the World Table Tennis Kingdom. I imagined that there were many good products.
The rubber that katsuo000 tried this time is Dynalyz AGR. There are two types of dynamization, soft ACC and hard AGR. The naming is so cool that I don’t want to say “Dynaryz!”
Dynaryz uses a new technology sponge and sheet, which gives a good shot feeling! That was emphasized. I didn’t have much information about what kind of rubber it was, but I bought it with the expectation that it was not a bad rubber because of its performance value and price range.

Published performance value

Dynaryz is the highest-ranked rubber in Joola’s rubber category called premium, and the price is also the highest at 7,600 yen + tax. Will it be discounted to around 5,500 yen? It’s quite expensive. The Dynaryz AGR has better rotation and speed performance than the Rhyzer Pro, so I didn’t like it, but my expectations were high! You can think of Joola’s No. 1 spin tension rubber as the Dynaryz AGR!

Dynaize AGR pasting and weight

It wasn’t that heavy. Even with the ball, it was a softer rubber than the Rhyzer Pro 50.

Dynaryz AGR
    Spin tension
    Next Generation Hyper Bounce Sponge
    Advanced Surface Traction
    Made in Germany
・Sponge Thickness: 2.0 mm, Max
・Speed: 11
・Spin: 10
・Category: Premium
・Sponge stiffness: Hard
・7,600 yen + tax
・72 g (before cut) → 50 g (after cut)

The bite was better than I had imagined, and I was worried if I put it on to be honest. When I actually tried it, it ended up in a misery.

Three features of Dynaryz AGR

Feeling is Tenergy 80! Spin amount is Tenergy05!

The first thing I felt when I used it was, “Oh, this is a hard sponge, but it’s a rubber that bites into it!” And it looks like Tenergy! The ball is released a little early, so it feels like a Tenergy 80 hit. The person who received it said that it was a lively drive with a lot of rotation. The amount of rotation is a sensation, but I felt that there was something close to Tenergy 05!

As an aside, I imagine that German manufacturers have been developing rubber like Tenergy with the aim of overthrowing Tenergy. Anyway, it was a rubber that can be used even with a back that has a good bite and a relatively weak impact. The price is high, but I thought it was a very tenacious rubber! I think it’s cheaper than Tenergy, and I think it’s an ant considering its lifespan!

The ball is heavy even though it is easy to hit repeatedly with a light feel!

What I felt after using it was that it was easy to hit repeatedly! However, you said that the ball is heavy to some extent. I don’t think it’s that heavy in terms of shot feeling, but it seems that there are balls that are spinning more than I imagined because of the good bite. In the past, German-made rubber had the image of being able to put out a ball like a habit ball if it was hard and could be bitten into it, but I think it was difficult to hit repeatedly. However, Dynaryz AGR is easy to hit repeatedly! I think this is not a German rubber, but rather a rubber that has the characteristics of a Japanese rubber!

Satisfactory both spin and speed even in backhand!

Very well balanced rubber, easy to use in the fore and back! The fore of katsuo000 likes hard rubber, so if you use Dynaryz, I think it’s on the back side. I tried to hit the downward rotation loop drive with the backhand, but I noticed that the person who did the opponent was quite over-missed and the amount of rotation was higher than I imagined from the shot feeling. I think that the amount of rotation was about the same as Tenergy 80 or Tenergy 05! Also, the drive was very lively, and I felt that it could be expressed that the drive is easy to stretch with the amount of rotation, rather than being violent or rough. I think it’s a very high-performance rubber that is easy to handle but powerful!
The image of katsuo000 was a rubber that made Rasanter R48 a little harder. If you make it harder, it may look like Rasanter R53, but it’s not as hard as R53, and if you want more power than R48 but R53 is too hard, it may be just the right rubber.

Each technical review

Forehand

Light hit
It was 50 g, but it is soft. At the same weight, Dignics 09C and Tenergy 05 Hard, but the Dynalyz AGR was overwhelmingly easier to bite and handle.

Drive on long balls and rallies
It’s easy to bite in, so it’s easy to speed up, and it’s easy to hit a strong rotation drive because it gets caught firmly.

Drive with open face
It’s better to open the surface, but if you let it bite too much, I felt that the thicker sponge makes it easier to get a longer flight distance than I imagined.

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
I was able to obtain a satisfactory amount of rotation even when using it in the foreground. Since it is good to pop out, it seems that a deep loop drive with a fast ball foot by rotation is more likely to be a weapon than a low, shallow and slow loop drive.

Speed drive against back spin
It was easy to hit because the speed drive was also easy to bite. Since it hits the board compared to Tenergy 05, if you try to speed up too much, it may not rotate and it may not be stable.

Curve / shoot drive
It was not so hard so it was a normal curve / shoot drive.

Block
Since the seat is strong, it was easy to do for the bite.

Counter drive
If the hitting point is too early, it will not be stable, so if you take a good distance and overwrite it, it will be stable.

Stop
I couldn’t cut it, but I was able to return it low.

Push
I couldn’t cut it, but it was possible to suppress it.

Back hand

Light hit
I was able to use it without any discomfort.

Drive on long balls and rallies
It was easy to rotate and very stable. Since the shot feeling is not a mad rubber, it was easy to hit repeatedly.

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
Although it is easy to hit repeatedly, I was surprised at the amount of rotation. It’s a good rubber!

Speed drive against back spin
It’s a little difficult, but I think it will be stable if you practice because it bites well.

Block
It was easy to block meat balls because it bites well.

Stop
It doesn’t rotate, but it was easy to do.

Push
It doesn’t rotate, but it was easy to do.

Chiquita
I made a little too much bite and made some over mistakes, but once I get used to it, I think I can do it without any problems.

Comparison with other rubbers (individual impressions)

Spin amount
 Tenergy 05 ≧ Dynaryz AGR > Tenergy 80

Speed

Review Fastarc G-1

Explanation

The best-selling rubber in Japan. It’s neither Butterfly’s monster rubber, the Tenergy series, nor Dignics, which surpasses monster rubber. The best-selling rubber in Japan, it will be Nittaku’s Fastarc G-1! It can be said that it was too late to review, but I was finally able to try it out, so I will review it again.

Why is Fastarc G-1 the best-selling product in Japan?

There are three main reasons why this rubber is the best-selling rubber in Japan. The three reasons are as follows.

・Introduction of plastic balls
・Price increase of the Tenergy series (open price)
・Use of top players

・Introduction of plastic balls
With the introduction of plastic balls, the balls have become harder. When the ball was changed from 38 mm to 40 mm, it became harder to rotate, but it didn’t rotate anymore. Following the change from cell balls to plastic balls, the evaluation of hard and rotating rubber has risen. Fastarc G-1 is a hard and rotating rubber, so it can be said that it is a rubber that fits plastic balls. It can be said that the introduction of plastic balls has raised the evaluation of Fastarc G-1.

・Price increase of Tenergy series (open price)
Monster rubber and Tenergy series are now open price. This is a real price increase. Before the open price, the table tennis shop was able to benefit from a 20 to 30% discount on the list price, which was around 5,000 yen. However, Mr. Butterfly has become an open price, and now Tenergy has become an expensive rubber that costs more than 7,000 yen. It has become a rubber that selects the user again. It seems that the number of players exploring post-Tenergy has increased due to this influence. Certainly, when it costs 10,000 yen for one piece of rubber, it seems that many table people’s wallets seemed to be tough. The Fastarc G-1 has a list price of 6,000 yen + tax and pricing may have been just right. From this price, you can get a store discount at the table tennis shop, so you can actually buy it for less than 5,000 yen!

・Use of top players
And finally, it’s the usage record of top players. After all, it is Kasumi Ishikawa and Mima Ito of the Japan Women’s National Team. In addition, both boys and Masatoshi Morizono use Fastarc G-1 for Chiquita. It can be said that the fact that both male and female top players have a track record of use in this way has a very large advertising effect. It seems that Kasumi Ishikawa is not currently using it, but Mima Ito is using it on the fore side! (Rumors such as SNS say that Mima Ito is currently using the 50 ° Fastarc G-1, but he is using the Fastarc G-1 anyway). It is true that the fact that Mima Ito is using it has become a huge advertising effect and trust, and many tablemates have come to think that they want to use it or want to use it.

Fastarc series

I would like to touch on the origins of the Fastarc G-1 and other Fastarc series. According to Nittaku, Fastarc’s name is a coined word that combines the English words Fast and Arc! The rubber with the highest rotational performance in the Fastarc series is the Fastarc G-1.
Other Fastarc series have the same sponge hardness and speed type sheet grain shape, Fastarc P-1, and the sponge hardness is soft and the same type sheet grain shape as G-1. Fastarc C-1 is on sale, and Fastarc S-1 is a speed type sheet with a soft sponge hardness. There are not as many types as the Tenergy series, but it can be said that it is easy to pick up as a post-Tenergy because the explanation is easy to imagine on the pamphlet. Also, unlike the Tenergy series, the Fastarc series has different prices depending on the type, G-1 and P-1 are the highest, and C-1 and S-1 with soft sponge hardness are also happy that the price is set cheaply. Hey. If you feel that G-1 is too hard, you may want to change to C-1.
The G of Fastarc G-1 seems to be the G of Grip, and it is said that it is a rubber that “grips with a seat and draws an arc”.

Published performance value

Nittaku also sells the Hurricane series that uses seats made in China, and two of the Hurricane Pro III Turbo series and other Hurricane series that have become a hot topic in recent years. The rotation performance of the is remarkably high. Rubbers such as the Fastarc P-1 and Alhelg, which disappeared from the 2020 pamphlet, are more expensive than the Fastarc G-1 in terms of speed performance. It can be said that the rubber that is most often referred to as the balanced type is the standing position among the Nittaku rubbers of Fastarc G-1. Or is it the rubber with the highest rotational performance among spin tension rubbers?

Fastarc G-1 sticking and weight

・6,000 yen + tax
・70 g (before cut) → 48 g (after cut)

Three features of Fastarc G-1

If you can control it well, it will take a lot of rotation!

This rubber felt very good. After all, I felt that it would take a lot of rotation. I’m seriously thinking about using it for my job. Sweat. It took a lot of rotation! Serve was also able to make a downward rotation like the ball returns like Dignics 05! This is great! It will be a comparison with Dignics 05, but the ease of handling is overwhelmingly G-1, and the speed performance is better with Dignics 05. Also, while I felt the high performance of Dignics 05 for the ease of aligning the balls, I felt that the G-1 had a wide range of rotation. I felt once again that this difference is a part that must be noted when the opponent uses the G-1 in the game.

Chiquita is easy to do! Easy to control both spin type and speed type chiquita!

After all I felt that Chiquita was extremely easy to put in. You have plenty of time to grip the ball. I felt that the amount of rotation would drop a little, but the Fastarc G-1 was easier to do with Chiquita than the Dignics 05! I understand why Morizono uses it!

You can hit a drive with a wide range of spin!

As I mentioned in the first one, I think it’s a habit ball that seems to be German rubber or G-1. Even if I was driving in the same way, I felt that there was a considerable range of rotation amount depending on when I was able to apply rotation as much as I could and when I just put it in or bounced it. I felt that this has the effect of disturbing the opponent’s block angle by using the Fastarc G-1. Actually, I also felt that the block angle was easy to get out of order when the opponent was driving with G-1 in the game, but I felt that it was easy to hit such a drive!

Each technical review

Forehand

Light hit
I didn’t feel any discomfort. I felt that the hardness was quite similar to that of Dignics 05. I felt that it was a little hard and hard rubber compared to Tenergy.

Drive on long balls and rallies
When using the G-1, I felt that the lower the ball, the less the ball stretched. If it goes down, it will drive like playing, but I felt that it would be a drive that does not stretch and speed does not come out with such a rotation method. If you rotate it with a sheet like using adhesive rubber, or hit it like V> 15 Extra and make it bite into it, and then rotate it from the bite before you play it, you can hit a good drive with rotation. I felt that. Perhaps the G-1 has a Tenergy 05-like feel and a grip like an adhesive rubber, so I felt that it would be easier to drive even with a drive that captures only the seat and takes the plunge to rotate. I’m not used to driving when I bite into it and spin it, but I felt that V> 15 Extra is probably more likely to be a violent drive.
Also, because it is a hard rubber, I felt that the ball was released fairly quickly. In the front team, I think you can feel the speed of the ball because it is quite fast. On the other hand, when driving from the middle team and the apse, if you do not hit it fairly firmly, you may feel lack of power such as insufficient speed and insufficient rotation. On the contrary, if it doesn’t go down to that level, I felt that G-1 was better than Dignics 05.

Drive with open face
This is also easy to hit! It felt very good. It was quite difficult to put the amount of rotation on the speed drive, but it was easy to stabilize, so it felt very good!

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
This was a pretty good feeling! I felt that you could drive with a very strong rotation. I think it’s a good rubber. In terms of the amount of rotation, I think it is at a level comparable to Tenergy 05 and Dignics 05. Probably, in plastic balls, the maximum value of the amount of rotation may be higher in G-1 than in Tenergy 05 due to the hardness of the sponge.

Speed drive against back spin
I think the amount of rotation will drop, but it was very easy to hit. This was a strange feeling. The image of Tenergy is that the swing speed and angle are more severe. I think it’s because I’m not good at spinning with speed drive.

Curve / shoot drive
This didn’t bend as much as I expected. After all I felt the range of the amount of rotation.

Block
It was easy to do because I could grip the ball. Especially the block for speed drive was pretty easy to do!

Counter drive
I felt that it was a little more susceptible to the influence of the opponent’s drive because it was easy to spin. I felt that it was necessary to get used to this area.

Stop
It grips, so it was very easy to stop. nice one!

Push
It was good because it also grips. However, it seemed to be lighter if I took it easy.

Serve
I’m glad I was able to cut it firmly. It felt pretty good!

Back hand

Light hit
I’m glad I didn’t feel any discomfort here either! Rasanter R48 and Rasanter R53 were also good rubbers, but due to the difference in the grain shape of the sheet, it was easy to feel the ball coming off, and I felt that it was necessary to get used to it. However, I like the G-1 because it has a thick grain and a narrow grain shape between the grains, so you can hit the ball with the image of firmly gripping the ball and then releasing it, which gives you a sense of stability. Is good!

Drive on long balls and rallies
This was also very easy to do! In the case of Dignics 05, the speed and the amount of rotation are very high, but the appearance of the arch line and the trajectory of the ball change considerably depending on whether you hit it like playing or hitting it with rotation. With a backhand that tends to slow down the swing speed, it often fails to rotate the ball, so it’s really difficult to stabilize, isn’t it? Sweat. On the other hand, since there is no such thing in G-1, I felt that the return ball itself was very easy to do. However, I think that the ball quality is likely to be low. However, by using high-performance rubber such as Dignics 05 for the forehand, I felt that the difference in ball quality could be used as a weapon! This was also felt when using V> 15 Extra. I think the combination of Japanese rubber and German rubber is an ant!

Loop (top spin) drive against back spin
Very easy to hit! nice one~! It grips so it was easy to hit the ball as you imagined! By taking the plunge, I was able to put it on the opponent’s court without anxiety!

Speed drive against back spin
It’s also an easy-to-play rubber, so it was easier to do than Tenergy 05! Dignics 05 is also easy to get speed, and recently it has come in quite a bit, but maybe it is easier to handle than Dignics 05, so I feel that G-1 can enter even if the swing speed is slow!

Block
German rubber balls are easy to block, but loop drives such as the Dignics 09C are subject to rotation and have many over-misses. I felt that it was necessary to get used to this area. I don’t feel like the seat is losing, so I think you can get used to it.

Counter drive
I found it easier to do than Tenergy 05. I feel that the seat is strong.

Stop
This was also good! It will stop!

Push
It will expire! Is good! Because it grips firmly, it didn’t float and I liked the shot feeling!

Chiquita
It’s easy to do! It was great!
